All PleasanTech Academy Board of Trustees Meetings are held in PleasanTech
II Multi-Purpose Room at the following location:

These meetings are announced in the Atlantic City Press and other local
newspapers; additional information is available in the school's Main Office.
We strongly urge parents/guardians to attend the meetings and to participate in
establishing the direction of the school.
Mission Statement
"To merge Art and Science with Technology," to create experimental learning
throughout the curriculum, and to incorporate high expectations and an
appreciation of other's strengths and weaknesses, among students, staff, and
parents.
Philosophy
Our philosophy talks about what we believe is true. At PleasanTech Academy, we
believe that all children can learn if they are given the appropriate
opportunity and resources.
We believe that students should become self-directed learners; that they should
develop a love and appreciation for learning that will motivate them to seek
education as a lifelong pursuit.
We believe that students perform best when they have a strong socio-emotional
support system made up of adults who trust each other and work collaboratively
on behalf of the students.
We believe that schools are socialization institutions created to reinforce
self-worth, build self-esteem, and cultivate human attributes that help each
child maximize his natural talents and abilities to produce a better person,
community, society, and world.
